- 10 beds
- 2 years of experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Patient types include respiratory failure, stroke, sepsis, renal failure, diabetes, neuro patients, and surgical patients
- Patient ratio is RN: 1:2
- Skills required include stroke experience, ventilator management, assist with intubation/extubation, CVL management/placement, foley cath management, tube feedings via NGT or PEG
- Traveler must pass an EKG competency exam prior to arrival
- Charge nurse will take patient assignment
- Resource nurse available
- RT available 24/7
- Hospitalist in-house
- OT, PT, ST available
  - Job Requirements
  - BLS certification required
  - ACLS certification required
  - NIHSS certification required
  - 2 years of experience in a similar role
  - Traveler must be separated for 1 year if previously a permanent staff
    - Schedule Information
    - Weekend rotation: every other weekend
    - Work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week (mandatory)
    - May work 3/2 or 5/2 rotations
    - Can request up to 7 days off, must extend contract for any full week of RTO
    - Only one weekend of RTO can be requested per 13-week contract
    - Will work 2/3 major holidays
    - No call required
      - Unit Specific Information
      - Orientation: 2 days hospital and 1 12-hour shift on unit
      - Floating to stepdown, stroke unit, and MedSurg may occur
